Dear Friends,
We have been so busy that we hardly know what the date is. This will be a quick note trying to update you. We had a great Christmas. We were able to go to Miami for 15 days and our son, Kevin and family were able to come from California for 9 days. All the kids, in-laws, grandkids, and the new great grandson were there and it was a blessed time. We have never had so many meals together as these few days. Everyone is doing great and it is with God’s grace that we were able to see everyone serving the Lord.
God is also blessing here in Cusco. We are now in our summer time and many of the church people have gone to the coast to visit relatives, but we are also having visitors in every service. We were blessed the last 10 days with a group of 24 from the Antioch Bible Baptist Church in Kansas City, Missouri. They ranged from the ages of 15 to 67 and they were great. They did dramas in our church and in a small village outside of Pisac where the camp is, then went to the Main Plaza in Pisac and did the dramas. Two different people in the plaza (one from Canada and the other one from Germany) told them that they were doing wrong helping missionaries, because missionaries shouldn’t be here trying to change their culture. They also went about 10 minutes away from the camp to another small village and painted the inside of their school building for them. The people were thrilled and really appreciated it. Tomorrow we are expecting another group from the First Baptist Church of East Longmeadow, MA. Everyone that has been coming has been working, helping us to get the Camp ready for summer camps, which will start the first week of February. This will be a first for nearly everyone, so PLEASE BE PRAYING especially for the month of February.
Again, thanks for everything. Without you, all of this would be impossible.
